CRFR2-null mice exhibit increased anxiety-like behaviour 24 hours after ARS in the LDT. Under basal conditions (A), immediately following ARS (B), or after CVMS (C), no differences were observed in behaviour between CRFR2-null mice and controls. However, when CVMS mice (D) or naïve mice (E) were exposed to ARS and tested 24 to 48 hours later, CRFR2-null mice showed increased anxiety-like behaviour compared with control mice.
